Elizabeth Pitcairn returns playing her famed “Red Mendelssohn” Stradivarius, and will be joined by pianist Barbara Podgurski (MRP Artistic Director) and cellist Evan Drachman, performing on the Stradivarius cello owned by his grandfather, the late Gregor Piatigorsky. This will be the first time two of the world’s most valuable and famous stringed instruments have ever performed on the same stage, and right here in Forest Hills! You will certainly not want to miss this delightful afternoon!
